Vito's Pizza

We ordered green peppers but instead got pickled red & green peppers. That’s not even on the menu. Why are they serving something not on the menu? We would have done a different topping. It’s also pretty obvious the mushrooms are canned or preserved in some way, instead of fresh mushrooms. The bottom of the crust is doughy like it’s not fully cooked but the crust edges are cooked and tough, which is a sign their oven is not cooking evenly. I am kind of shocked food of this quality has 4.2 stars. The only reason I give them a 2nd star is because it was ready for pick up on time.

Food arrived quickly. The fries were supposed to be gravy fries but they sent a bag of regular fries. We ordered: 14” Chicken bacon ranch pizza- it wasn’t bad, just a little dry. 16” pepperoni pizza- dough was a little tough. Flavor was okay. It wasn’t cut all the way on some pieces. Fries- didn’t get the gravy fries we ordered so we ended up with a lot of plain fries. They weren’t really crispy and were kind of dry throughout. Chicken tenders- I liked these the best. They were just standard white meat chicken tenders. Not processed chicken like a nugget that some places do. Buffalo wings- I liked the hot sauce on them. The meat on some of them was a bit tough and dry but some were better. The skin on the wings was a bit fatty and chewy which I don’t prefer.

Customer service via phone was horrible! I called and asked for a cheesesteak sub, and the guy said, Hey man, you need to talk. I said, What do you mean? He said, “You’re not saying anything. What do you want—a whole sub or a half sub—and what do you want on it? That's what I mean." First off, that's rude! If I asked for a sub, your first response should have been “Okay, would you like a whole sub or half, and what would you like on it?" PIZZA WAS HORRIBLE!!!! PIZZA WAS HARDLY CUT I HAD TO USE MY OWN CUTTER! THE PIZZA WAS SO GREASY, I HAD TO SOAK IT UP WITH THREE PAPER TOWELS! THE PIZZA SAUSE WAS SO WATERY THAT IT SOAKED THROUGH THE DOUGH AND MADE IT SOGGY, WHICH WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN HOLD A SINGLE SLICE TO EAT. WE COULDN'T EVEN PULL APART ONE SLICE WITHOUT THE CHEESE BEING PULLED OFF FROM THE NEXT SLICE! EITHER THE DOUGH IS NOT FULLY COOKED OR THE PIZZA SAUCE IS SO WATERY THAT ITs MAKING THE PIZZA SOGGY. I LIVE RIGHT BEHIND THE SHOPPING CENTER AND I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN I SHOULD HAVE USED MY CARD INSTEAD OF CASH SO I CAN REFUND THROUGH MY BANK! WE ATE TWO SLICES AND TRASHED THE REST OF THE LARGE PIE!

Ordered a fish filled sub eith french fries and got two fish wedges that looked like they were from Gordons frozen food. The two fish wedges were small not to fill the bun. The French fries like the sub were cold. I can't believe these people can't find a suitable short order cook. This is the second and last time I buy from them. I tried to give them a second chance. Food is horrible! Nasty! Terrible! Disgusting especially for the price! Shame too!
